Support for Children & Young People

Plas Garnedd provide support for some of the most vulnerable children and families in the community.

When children need care and support, they want someone they can trust, someone who understands special needs, and someone they can rely on. We, at Plas Garnedd, aim to provide a person centred Active Support approach to working with children and young people.

We specialise in crisis intervention, aiming o keep children and young people safe and out of trouble in their own locality. We work with multiple agencies and focus on positive outcomes for our service users.

Our support staff are highly trained and have received specialist training in ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Safeguarding and Respect. Our service user’s safety and well-being is our number one priority. We carefully select the right team to provide our service users with the continuity of care and support they need.

We strive to achieve excellence in everything we do by putting children and young people first in the design, delivery and evaluation of every service we provide, to ensure that they are supported to live safe, happy, healthy and successful lives. Our broad service offer is informed by leading practice and a strong evidence-base of what works best. It is guided by our daily work with children and young people and the organisations that work with us to help and support them.
